*** SSL Opportunity ***
Make “Thinking of You” or “Have a Good Day” cards which will be given to people experiencing loneliness and isolation. These cards should be individually made, not mass produced or printed out, and should not be signed. As per SSL guidelines, each 10 cards made and delivered can earn 1 SSL hour. When completed, they can be sent to the KindWorks office, together with an SSL form, including an email address for the student:
KindWorks
7979 Old Georgetown Road
10th Floor
Bethesda, Maryland 20814
KindWorks will review the project, sign the SSL form and send it back by email. KindWorks will also promptly share these cards with people in nursing homes, shelters and to others who are feeling extra isolated as a result of the pandemic.
