SPIRIT NIGHTS
The PTA offers Spirit Nights throughout the school year to raise funds for PTA activities and support local businesses. Special thanks to California Tortilla, Chipotle, Fire Wok, Ledo's Pizza, Potomac Pizza, and Shake Shack for participating throughout the year. We look forward to another successful year. HOOVER CLASSROOM WISH LISTS
Help Hoover teachers and Staff create and amazing experience for our Hoover students by purchasing items for their classroom using the HOOVER CLASSROOM WISH LISTS. Items are available for purchase from amazon and will be delivered to the classroom. Please use the Gift registry address as your shipping address to ensure proper delivery of your gift. ANNUAL READ-A-THON 2025-2026 This year we will continue to support Hoover students and staff in the 4th annual Read-A-Thon challenge. Last year challengers read as much as they could in March and exceeded our fundraising goal of $6,000 by raising $6,655! Click on the "Read-A-Thon" tab above to find out last year's winners. We are thrilled to bring bac k last year's successfully advocated outdoor recess time at the end of lunch every Friday. Parents interested in volunteering to help staff during recess time Click here. MONTGOMERY COUNTY COUNCIL OF PTAs (MCCPTA) MCCPTA, of which the Hoover PTA is a member, has released its advocacy priorities for 2025-2026. BOOK FAIR & ART CONTEST
Last year's book fair saw record sales and a fantastically fun activity that will see a return this year. Students will draw their favorite character or scene from their favorite book and created a "turkey undercover" for the art contest. Details coming soon! INTERNATIONAL NIGHT
We are fortunate to have such a diverse Hoover community. On February 1, 2024 families were able to take a tour around the world and "visit" 27 countries from Afghanistan to Vietnam. Stay tuned for details for the 2025-2026 international night! |
